The worth of an idea









                It is said that the most difficult part about having a business idea is to decide

                its worth.


                You might recall Rebecca, the 21 year old Physical Education and Sport finalist.
                She was researching to explore market gaps to assess if her online fitness

                coaching business could offer something different than similar online services

                were already providing.


                While drafting her business plan, she got stuck on the financial aspects. She
                was unable to decide the worth of her business idea. This is much because she

                was quite lost in the business lingo.


                Value proposition, market value, costs, add value, company worth… All these

                concepts were mixing up in her mind. In her research path to start her

                business, she took then the time to analyse in depth a business model canvas.
                She again drafted a business model canvas and wrote down the meaning of

                each section.
