Start small, end up big

Everyone knows about Facebook right?

Well, looking at Facebook’s success as the main social media network

worldwide, you would not say that it started small and it took a lot of

testing and prototyping to get it right to the top.

The idea started at Harvard University, in the United States, and was led

by a group of friends. One of them was Facebook’s founder Mark

Zuckerberg. The concept was simple – a website showing students’

pictures side-by-side and the possibility to vote for who was better good

looking.

However, this idea was shut down by the University as Zuckerberg and

his friends used the pictures without consent.
