DEVELOPING A SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING STRATEGY

                       Practical tips for marketing strategy and digital content creation

                       The first step to create a social media marketing strategy is planning. Use the
                 1  SMART Goal methodology to explain how they can plan their strategy by defining
                       relevant, and achievable goals.

                       Explain  that  being  different  matters.  It  is  important  to  avoid  just  publishing
                 3     promotional messages, instead start your message by focusing on what matters
                       to you this emphasises your personality and values then talk about the product
                       and link it to why you like it, how it matches your values.
                       People are influenced by what they see, visuals are really important so think about
                 4     interesting backgrounds, something that will catch the attention of your followers
                       and perhaps even gain you new followers. If using video content, them make sure
                       it is short, to the point and text is easy to read.
                       Check out what your competitors are doing. Look at your competition's social
                 5  media channels. Do not copy their ideas but have a look to see what is working
                       for them and see if this can help you with designing your own campaigns.
