Practical tips for digital business monetising strategies and
management

Argue that a key element to successfully nurture your digital business is to be
1 able to manage daily business operations with the resources (e.g., time,
people) available, particularly when working remotely as is usually de case for
digital businesses.
Present other tools and platforms that can help participants understand what
they have to do to better manage their day-to-day business tasks and priorities.
2 Explain to the participants that the majority of these tools and platforms are
online, all for free download. Facilitators are advised to read and explore the
suggested resources before presenting them to the learners.
3 Use the OSKAR coaching method with the aim of helping participants to reflect
on the current state of a digital business and actions to achieve clear objectives.
Replicate this activity by using the OSKAR coaching method to explain how
4 participants can improve start or improve their day-to-day business operation
by focusing on the question “what are the 5 things you need to do?”.
Remember to clearly explain, during the session, the main features of each free
5 online management platform that might not be straightforward for participants.
Facilitators can provide a demo presentation as an example.
