The key is planning
She then decided to conduct a small research on how she could make
her business successful. She came across several articles explaining the
steps to plan a digital business – idea, competitive analysis, target and
business plan – and found out more about the importance of drafting her
own business plan.
As Pamela started answering the different questions of each step, she
became more aware of her business and where she wanted to go. She
decided to download a business plan template from
www.sba.gov/business-guide/plan-your-business/write-your-business-
plan and started matching her answers to the different steps with the
sections of the business plan template.
It was not an easy task, it took some time and reflection, but she could
not be happier with the outcome.
