Formulate your business hypotheses
After conducting a SWOT analysis of her business (see Module 7 –
Product/service development and business plan), Pamela realised that
her Instagram page with over 50 thousand followers was her business
strength.
However, one of her main digital business weaknesses was the
recognition that her sole revenue stream relied in the collaboration with
art suppliers for marketing purposes.
Hence, she decided to include in her business model canvas an additional
service: online painting lessons for all.
Her assumption was that her Instagram followers were art lovers. So,
being able to learn how to use digital painting tools would be something
they would be willing to pay for.
