Formulate your business hypotheses

Pamela set aside 5-20 minutes to complete her hypotheses card,

specifically questions 1, 2 and 3. After that, she went on testing it.

She decided that the most suitable method was to do a teaser for her

Instagram page announcing the online painting lessons and starting a

pool, encouraging her Instagram followers to answer two questions: (i) if

they would be willing to participate and (ii) until which amount they

would be willing to pay to attend.

Once all data was collected, she closed the pool and analysed it,

answering questions 4 and 5 of the hypotheses card.

The result of this early-stage prototype validated her initial assumption

that her followers would be interested in attending her online painting

lessons, but for the right fee. Thus, this learning became an important

part of her future digital business.
