How to nurture a digital business?
Pick one idea: you may be bursting with a million excellent ideas on
how to nurture your digital business. However, it is important to stay
focus. The more ideas you have, the more challenging it will be for you
to make your business grow in a consistent way. Therefore, you need to
find out what is truly important for you today and what you want to
achieve with your business and stick with that line of thought (see
Module 6 – Innovation management and business ideation).
Test: the biggest failure you can make is rushing into a decision. Take
time and invest in an idea, i.e., search for market failures, give samples
to customers and ask for their feedback (recall Module 8 – Digital
business prototyping and testing techniques). You are never wasting
time, in fact you are saving resources beforehand and adapting your final
product or service to market needs.
