How can you nurture a digital business?
Be purposeful: a digital business needs time to develop and grow, it is
not something that can be done overnight. So take time to assess why
are you starting a digital business and consider if you are starting it for
the right reasons. Make sure you have a purpose and clear objectives as
these can make it much easier to nurture. Being purposeful is one of the
easiest steps of nurturing your digital business as it allows you to stay
true to yourself and your brand.
Brainstorm: there is a lot of competition out there, so you need to
ensure that you brainstorm and come up with new and exciting ways to
grow and nurture your business. At the end of the day, this is your
business. You need to identify what makes it unique, i.e., what other
competitors are missing (recall Module 9 – Marketing strategy and digital
content creation).
