Steps to plan a digital business
o Competitive analysis: What do your competitors do?
If you already know what to offer, now it is time to determine if the market
you want to enter is profitable to you.
To do this you can look at the competitors that currently exist and the
position they occupy in the digital market and learn from their successes
and pitfalls. Therefore, you should reflect on the following questions:
o What do they do that attracts people?
o Is there something that would improve those businesses?
o Are there any needs not covered by those businesses?
That being said, you should not copy and past. You want to differentiate
yourself from others. Once you know what your competitors do, think about
your digital product, service or business feature(s) that makes it unique and
will make your target want it. This will be your unique selling point (USP).
